well, it is that time of year again. wow! time flies... quickly! :)

ashlee and i will be staying home for the holidays... we have all our family coming into town... along with alot of friends, so it will be good times.

uncle todd, aunt jamie and kyan are already here...
uncle ben and uncle tom will arrive tomorrow.

auntie jojo, uncle chris and nathan will be in town, along with auntie jackie and her family....

i got ashlee a pair of skates, so we will be trying that. sunday, is skating with santa at the multiplex, so wish us luck! hehe! they are little hockey skates, and ashlee was quite concerned that "those are boys skates, mommy, those are for boys!". hehe :) it has actually been a good 6 or 7 yrs since i myself, have been on skates, so it should be an interesting evening... make sure to check back here for an update, eh?

anyways, it is bed time, so i will end this now...

well, on saturday night, Ashlee and I were taken to a "Merry Moore Christmas" program at the Performing Arts Centre. it is an annual program put on by Paul and Melina Moore (new york broadway singers, who live in the Okanagan here, and have a music school)... it is a great time!

anyways, the lead up to it, was talkign to ashlee about going to the program, to see the singers and the dancers ect... so she was getting very excited about it... she got to put on makeup with mommy, wear perfume, and even got her hair curled with a curling iron... what an exciting evening i tell ya!!

so then as we were waiting for the grandparents to pick us up... she decided to put on her own little dancing show, and i captured it on the camera, so here it is! :)

the program was awesome, by the way, and she entertained everyone in the lobby with her dancing... They had about 6 people singing xmas carols before the show, and then during intermission.... So she had an open space, where she danced up a storm!! At one point, she is all "come on, mommy... dance". the crowd had a good laugh at that one. I politely declined the invite! ha!

Sunday was a very nice, xmas-y day also... woke up to it snowing, and off to nana's house to help decorate her tree.... then home to have a nap, and then papa and granny came over for supper, and we decorated our own tree. :) I'll have to take some pictures of our tree, and also our xmas decorations. Ashlee was a HUGE helper in decorating the tree this year. yes, most of the stuff was on the lower half of the tree, and god forbid if i moved it (had to be "rearranged" after she was in bed).... but it all turned out beautifully! :)
